Some of their stories are extraordinary while others celebrate the strength of the everyday. Each aspect of representation is critical to show a comprehensive thread of women in our past that were treated as extras in America’s story. Guided by an archivist, explore this collection of recreated Smithsonian objects and the fascinating stories of women throughout the U.S.!
